I experienced the same with my Subaru. A very clattery engine as Subie owners know. Also started in a quiet garage next to a wall.

Do you remember which formula this was? I know Try-Syn kept some of my engines spotless with 250-300k miles.

Very suspicious IMO. The website has some odd errors as well that BITOG members pointed out in other threads. To me it seems like a foreign company piecing together labels and a website. I wouldn’t trust it personally.

I must say I’ve had to clean up the threads on a couple FE7317’s myself. I’m still finding OG Fram Titaniums at AAP which have been pristine.

Any idea if this was the tail end of the tri-syn era? I loved the tri-syn. Absolutely some of the cleanest engines I’ve seen at high mileage.
