    Air Compressor Leaking PAG Oil

I just wanted to chime in on this. My Dad's 2005 Ford Five Hundred probably has the exact same compressor, and sure enough it is leaking at the shaft seal. Thing only has 72k miles on it and it is very well maintained too. Instead of replacing with a new compressor at around 1250 USD, My father...

    Cable modem issues

It's a good idea to get terminators (little metal caps that screw onto any open outputs) on a splitter... Just call your cable company office and ask for them for free.

    Amsoil and Ford Warranty

There are several posters in this thread that are actually encouraging people to go AGAINST the recommendations of the manufacturer when it comes to their under warranty vehicle. Don't listen to them. They are just people posting their OPINION on the internet, when it comes to crunch time and...

Spark plugs after 25k of use.

But in any case if you buy a traditional basic copper plug you can at maximum expect only about 30k miles on them, this is normal wear and totally reasonable, not that I am a fan of Champion plugs but that mileage is what you should expect. Personally I would go with something like the Bosch...

Rant - Bicycles not following road rules

One of my BIGGEST grips with bicycle riders are the ones that "think" they are "pros" (have the fancy skins on ect) but they INSIST on riding down the road in pairs side by side taking up the ENTIRE lane of the road! Like they are riding in the TdF. Blocking the ability of motorists to get past...

    Interstate Batteries VS WalMart's EverStart?

One word of caution...DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE CLAMPS TO THE POSTS WHEN INSTALLING THE BATTERY. If when tightening you use too much force it is possible to distort the seal around the posts and they will leak. This my guess is especially a problem when you let the counter monkey at the chain...

    Identifying the house brands......

Yep. As long as the oil carries the current API certification, and has basic documentation like MSDS available you should be just fine, the best price after all those are met is all that matters. Of course there are a few cars that need extra certifications but not all that many even today...

    Amsoil and Ford Warranty

Don't just "listen" to something someone says, even if it comes from Ford customer service. Whatever is in writing at the time in the owners manual is what Ford will go on with regards to any warranty claim regarding their engine. If you insist on using an oil that does not meet Ford's...
