2013 Scion Frs. TGMO 0W20. FRAM XG9688. New to me car, no idea what was in it. 39k miles on the clock.

According to Tirerack, 16" wheels will fit on the 2015 and earlier Accord Sport. 2016 upped the size of the brake discs in front, and went to 19" wheels, which are even heavier. I agree 28th what others are saying here, 230 is not troubling. Run a up a if you are concerned about the oil you choose bolding up. I imagine you will be pleased with the results. Just don't bump to a higher viscosity oil to deal with the heat, your temps will rise as thicker oil doesn't cool...

Blend with some Toyota 0w20 to get the correct viscosity. The M1 0w40 fs is great oil, as long As you don't need certain certifications (LL01). No reason to use thicker oil than your engine requires.

Keep a receipt for the approved oil. No dealer is going to be willing to go to court on the strength of a uoa. Run what you feel is best.

I have had good luck blending 4:5 TGMO 0w20:Mobil 1 0w40 FS. This will give you a nice 0w30 with a much higher VI than Mobil 1 AFE 0W30 and a nice high TBN and SAPS for extended drain intervals. Credit to Caterham for the recipe.

I still think TGMO 0w20 is pretty popular. I've had a couple really good UOA with it.

My Mazda uses no oil. 4 qt of oil with a filter changer leaves the level half way between the marks. The second oil change, when I leave the oil old filter in place, brings it pretty near full mark with 4 qt. I wouldn't add oil unless it was touching the bottom mark.
