You've just got to get the right Mazda.
The cabin filter in my 1st gen 6 is simple: drop the glove box and the access panel is staring you in the face. No screws even. Trickiest part of the job is re-hooking the little string that limits the downward travel when you open the glove box.
I've been through the rebuilt warranty merry-go-round. Can't remember if it was AZ or AAP. Went through three and the longest of them lasted three months. They never gave me grief about warrantying them, and thankfully the alternator placement made for an easy swap, but I had enough and coughed...

Beautiful rides, both of them. Congrats.
I really like the new 6 inside and out. The wife and I stopped at the dealership to look at one- not really with the intent on buying one, but we both kinda agreed if the stars aligned we might consider it.
The 184hp standard and only engine choice...
Contours can be had all day for dirt cheap. They're all 13-18 yrs old now so pickings are getting real slim for decent ones. Most were treated as just basic transportation(get in, drive, neglect) so I'd be patient and find a 1 or 2 owner car that took care of it- less of a chance of being a...
Pretty sure worn strut mounts can cause that. I've got a suspension I went through and replaced everything but the mounts about 30k miles ago and now have a similar rattling sound over bumps. Now I'm kicking myself for being cheap and not replacing them.
As mentioned upthread, what comes OEM by the vehicle manufacturer doesn't mean all of that tire make is of the same quality. I've run Kumhos and have been pleased with them. Often times OEM's are chosen and spec'ed to a price point. Other offerings usually are better, regardless of brand.

No, I haven't yet. I just placed a call to a couple dealerships nearby. I'm hoping there is a cost saving vendor that a BITOG'e might be aware of. Thanks
Looking for a place that sells nice aftermarket cloth mats. Not the generic type you find at AAP or AZ, but ones that imitate OEM mats for specific fit for make/model. The quote I got from the dealer for OEM is more than I'm looking to spend. I've heard WeatherTech makes some nice mats, but as...

I suppose the only buy OEM guys have another round of ammo. If I had to wager a bet this douche was guilty of posting 100's of duplicate listings on ebay.
