    Maybe a high mileage oil might help with consumption? Supertech has their synthetic high mileage now and there regular high mileage which is semi seynthetic.

I think a larger size is a good idea especially if your gonna buy the expensive filters and get your moneys worth by running it to 20k which is what i did.
