    April Fools' Joke?

There is a small station wagon parked in our lot outside right now that is completely filled with balloons. I'd love to be out there when whoever owns it comes back.

Shutting your car off before it's fully warmed up

Shutting the engine off before it has warmed does cause condensation to form, especially in the exhaust. I have a friend who owns a late model Dodge Ram (Cummins). He primarily uses the truck to tow his race car and other toys around. He frequently starts it briefly to move it out of the garage...

    ATV oil change

I have the same ATV (mine is the ES) and run into the same dilemma. I am always to 1 year way before my KMs or hours are close. Since it's only a little over 2 litres, I usually bite the bullet and change just before the plowing season starts each year along with the fluid in both differentials...

Anyone using 5w20 in a Nissan VQ?

Just wondering why are you considering 5w20 for an engine that the MFG specs a 5W30 for? Is it to save gas? I can see going to a 0W30 in the winter or maybe a 10W30 in the summer (assuming big temp differences in your area)...but at operating temps, I would be sticking with the 30 weight. Also...

    Windshield Treatment recommendations?

I have been using Prestone Windshield Treatment every few months for the past couple of years and have been happy with it. I just ran out, so was wondering what others are using before I go shopping.

Rising cost of PP... it's time for me to move on.

Picked up 3 jugs of 5w30 PP at W-M here in Halifax, N.S. yesterday @ $19 each. With today's exchange rate that is about $16US/ea, and as cheap as any synthetic I've ever bought.

Best boat trailer wheel bearing grease for salt ap

I've always used just regular wheel bearing grease (like a GC-LB, grade 2...that is what is on my Pennzoil tubes). The trick in a salt water application is to use it often and in conjunction with a device to keep a positive pressure on the bearing races like Bearing Buddies. They are cheap...
