Did you try Costco. I bought 4 16" steelies for my Nissan there @ $40/ea a few weeks ago.

I have the same ATV (mine is the ES) and run into the same dilemma. I am always to 1 year way before my KMs or hours are close. Since it's only a little over 2 litres, I usually bite the bullet and change just before the plowing season starts each year along with the fluid in both differentials...

Just wondering why are you considering 5w20 for an engine that the MFG specs a 5W30 for? Is it to save gas? I can see going to a 0W30 in the winter or maybe a 10W30 in the summer (assuming big temp differences in your area)...but at operating temps, I would be sticking with the 30 weight. Also...

Picked up 3 jugs of 5w30 PP at W-M here in Halifax, N.S. yesterday @ $19 each. With today's exchange rate that is about $16US/ea, and as cheap as any synthetic I've ever bought.

I've always used just regular wheel bearing grease (like a GC-LB, grade 2...that is what is on my Pennzoil tubes). The trick in a salt water application is to use it often and in conjunction with a device to keep a positive pressure on the bearing races like Bearing Buddies. They are cheap...
