Rachel Veitch is very lucky. My mom is 80, also has macular degeneration, and doesn't drive anymore. She is the flip side of the coin from Rachel Veitch: she has been through a number of cars in the last 48 years, but still has the same husband.

I remember seeing a interview on one of the news shows a couple years back and really thought she was a cool lady and it was a neat story. She did indeed have a good run.
