Very interesting. Looks like Firestone was advertising some sort of NailGuard technology way back in '59.

The "Pensylvania" brand caught my attention! In approx 1970 I bought my first pair of NEW tires (through my dad's shop) they were bias-belted 2ply polyester/2fiberglass belted, "PENSYLVANIA FAT CATS" with "Fat Cat" "F70-14" on the side in bold white letters.. High Tech!!! Cutting Edge Technology!!!!
