I just purchased dunlop M3 winter sport's from tirerack..
These are the real deal.
Great traction, hydroplane resistance, really good performance
(mine are H rated).

There is a reason they are rated #1 on tirerack. These are the real deal. If anyone is considering winter tires I highly recommend these.

Last year I purchased four M3 WinterSports from TireRack mounted on new Toyota steel wheels, w/lug nuts and a heavy duty torque wrench for $560 delivered. At that time, we lived in southern PA and commuted into Baltimore; as a result we had to have really good winter tires to get us to the Maryland border since PA is infamous for poor road maintenance. When it came time to order from TireRack, I was flipflopping between M3's and Blizzak's. In the end I chose the WinterSports and I'm glad I did: They performed great, especially on compact snow and ice.

By who, TR or the general public? I personally tend to take all those survey results with a grain of salt.

p.s. I too have the M3 WinterSports. While I consider them good, they are far from "#1". In fact, my wife's Nokian WR All Weather provide as good performance in an all season package.
