Found this in the Ford truck forum. Don't think it's been posted here (hope not). Very impressive report. Motorcraft makes one **** of an oil.

The verdict is in, I can keep driving my truck without worry the engine is going to prematurely grenade. The oil held up very well, as can be seen in the results. There was very little viscosity breakdown, and all the element levels were well within limits.

Vehicle: 1999 F350 4x4
Engine: 7.3 litre diesel
Oil: Motorcraft 15w-40
Mileage: 135,200
Mileage on oil: 9,000

Results are as follows:

(in parts per million)
Aluminum: 6
Chromium: 6
Copper: 9
Iron: 23
Lead: 6
Tin: 2
Silicon: 12
Potassium: <2
Sodium: <2
Moly: 2

Other properties:
Water: <0.1%
Oxidation: 2.7 units
Viscosity @ 100F: 14.5
Glycol: Not detected
Fuel: <2.0%
TBN: 8.0
Nitration: N/A
Soot: 1.0
