First oil change for new/old Harley

I finally changed the oil today, dumped the SYN3 with 3,300 miles on it and went with the Vr1 dino 20w50 SM rated I had on hand. Put a new Harley 5 micron filter on as well. I'm planning on running Vr1 dino about 2,500 miles before changing it. I'm thinking I still want to try the Redline 20w50 in the spring.
