This was off a Ford Escape with the 1.6 engine with 6,500 miles and MC 5w30 oil. Doesn't look bad to me. Made may 7, 2015 also. A champ labs PH 2835 and Eco Power 5w30 back in and on.

Looks good for the mileage--no waves as can be typical on MC filters of late.

Thanks for the C&P!

2015_PSD - Do you know if they fixed the FL-820S?

I have not used them in quite some time, but based on what I have seen posted here recently, I would say not. My fleet is using FRAM Ultra, WIX, and Baldwin these days.

What's wrong with the FL-820s? What I've always used on my 2003 f-150.

Tears in the media. I used themy as well, but stopped and switched to FRAM Ultra when I started extending my OCs past 10K. At this point, I would not use them at all, but that is just me. The MC I cut open on my PSD looked carpy.

In my view and from all the cut & posts I have read, the Motorcrafts in the 3" diameter size are excellent filters. This includes the topic filter.
