Off of a 2012 Kia Rio sedan. 6,000 miles with MaxLife red jug 5w30 according to sticker on windshield. Put Eco Power 5w30 and OEM back on.

This is a corporate executives company car. Company talked of using the CQ "reds" but never materialized. I guess we will survive with E CORES. Better than "tear-o-later" junk


Me personally: I like these a bit more than E CORES.
 
WellOiled: for friends like the new boss that I posted the M1 filter and oil; those KIA/HYUNDAI vehicles get OEM filters. I can get a case for like $38 thru work

Note that Wix makes their 51334 size filters in Mexico. This Fram is American made.

Fram should just use the CQ Red design in their orange cans. And I agree, this is a very good filter for the price.
 
Exactly. This Carquest red filter is very stout for price point. Better than Fram extra guard.

If this were a Puro we'd be hearing about big gaps in the pleats and places where the media "could" fail.
