I shop them for price along with a few other sites. The bottom line for me is whoever has the best price on an identical item on the www. wins. With one caveat, the company must have a good reputation.

Yeah, Rockauto never is good for one or two small items most times. As others mentioned, bunch up for a bigger job and they become more competitive.
Most times if I am just looking for a cheap Chinese made generic air filter, I find Ebay usually has what I need for a cheap delivered price if I am between a bulk order with Rockauto.

Wiper blades for my truck are $25 a piece locally. Even with shipping, Rock Auto is 50% cheaper.
