Well, the best tip I have is, before you go in for new tires, spray a little soapy water, or even windex around the sensors. Let it sit for a few minutes, and if it's not foaming or bubbling...let it go. If it's leaking down the road the TPMS will tell you, and you can check it again. Most likely it will be a nail or bead leak instead.
