Nice, lots of zinc, little less Boron, more Phos, robust viscosity. Thanks for posting it. Something for me to think about, whether or not you see less wear is something else. From what I've seen the viscosity in M1 seems to climb as it gets used. I'm sure you will send it in for a UOA though.

Thanks DuckRyder for the time and expense of this VOA! Looks like yet another fantastic offering from Mobil: great flashpoint, nice high TBN of 9, 1600 PPM of phosphorus, a nice dose of Moly and Boron; what's not to like!?

They market this as a "V-twin" oil however, it could easily be used in forged crank big block or small block "race" engine with added bearing clearance .003" main/rod etc. when I worked in performance machine shop we would use Amsoil Dominator or VR1 20W-50 for the typical 1000hp build. Currently Mobil1 pushes the 0W-50 Racing oil or 15W-50 for "Racing" application.
