It actually grows on you. I like it less salty so we put less bullion in. The bullion is as much for salt as anything. You can buy salt free bullion allso..but obviously you need some salt.

And again you are cutting up the chicken while the noodles are cooking in the other stuff. Add the chicken at the end. Also you will find that the second day the soup tasts better bc the stuff has sat to together longer.

, much better then the can version, too much sodium, with this receipt I can control how much sodium and stuff in my chicken soup. Thank you for suggestion -MetalSlug-

You are welcome. The recipee needs to be tweeked to your own taste. Its a good starting point.

to make it different or change a few:
(cut into small cubes, not all on the list at once, switch/combine to try something new):
-dry beans
-carrots
-green beens
-dry peas
-green peas
-chickpeas
-celery root
-red beet
-apple
-prunes
-dry prunes
-blueberry (i think is called spring soup)
-parsley
-root of parsley
-cilantro
-dill
-pepper (regular/hot)
-lettuce / various greens
-croutons
-sour cream/yoghurt
-fish/fruits of the sea
-chicken/pork/beef/veal
-eggs
-potatoes
-swett potatoes
-pumpkin/various

by cooking from scratch you will control the ingredients/ sodium level and other.
rule number one: keep hands away from the sharp blade

now teas: to try something different, find a grocery store around you that is polish/italian/russian/spanish (and many others). they may have plenty of other plant teas/herbals available. buy only if you know the language/translated in english
