I'm sorry folks, but kero is still a solvent, no matter what else it's a carrier for. If you want to run kero, run it. Does that guarantee you the same effect as an OTC fuel additive? No.
I've been getting some bad fuel recently, and my bike has been spitting and sputtering when cold(under 30 degrees f).
I added a few ounces of kerosene to the fuel tank and the bike now runs like a scalded dog.
I know most of you guys like a fancy price tag and name on the bottle.
I'll keep my secret fuel additive.

Not sure if you have opened your engine and see inside.
If I am not mistaken, kerosene will create "soot" when it is burned and may swell rubber like diesel, so putting it in gasoline engine for long time may recipe for disaster.
