I mean come on, who does not want to make their way threw the Ferrari men's department store/dealer and all the polo shirts and socks to the parts counter every time they need a wiper blade or three.

Its about the lifestyle!

Who says you need to buy wiper blades from the dealer for a Porsche?

very true, which penny penching porsche owner would buy aftermarket subpar replacement parts?

Should I point out that Bosch wiper blades can be purchased at just about any autoparts store?

And from what I've seen about Porsche owners, a huge portion of the ones that self service their vehicles buy OEM parts at non-Porsche retailers, for less than Dealer prices all the time. I know I did for my '98 Boxster.

Lets see:

Rear Bilstein struts
MAF sensor
Replacement convertible top
Brake rotors, Pads, and wear sensors
Front engine mount
Convertible Top Closed switch
Water Pump
Even the oil filter was OEM

All OEM parts with OEM part numbers stamped on them, all bought at below dealer prices.

Nothing sub-par about the driving experience on the track, or up in the mountains, paying less than dealer prices, that's for sure.

But, then again, I'm not Porsche's standard customer.
And I don't care.
