Magnetic Drain Plug

The Gold plugs look like they are for engine only, but from what I've seen on other sites, both plugs for the engine and transmission are the same size. The one big difference I notice is that the Gold plugs have a much shorter magnet than other brands for an engine oil magnetic plug, it looks more like what the other brands advertise for their magnetic transmission plug.

Ive had a mfactory engine and transmission magnetic plug on my acura for the past 6 years. The magnet is very strong and the bolt is made of high quality material.

Here is what my mfactory magnet from my transmission pulled out:

I just got a Gold Plug for my car. Not because I needed the magnet, but because I rounded off the old drain plug, and I wanted something better that will not get rounded off.

So soon I will have both a magnet for my oil drain plug and oil filter.
