Any reason to prefer M1 EP 0W20 over TGMO?

Thanks Bryan I'm sure you're right. It appears Honda was first by quite a few years specifying the 0W-20 grade. Toyota didn't till I think 2009 for the Prius, the original was spec'd for 5W-30.

The 2nd Generation Insight, Civic Hybrid and Fit models have the so-called 0W-10 Ultra Green as the FF from Japan. This oil is available, likely a non SAE precursor to the Honda 0W-16.
Those that can't wait can get Ultra Green here:

Well, my scanner is malfunctioning. But here are some photographs of the front and back. Not as good as a scanned copy, but oh well.

That is interesting. Something tells me that might make Sustina 0w-20 seem cheap, but of course, I haven't contacted them.[/quote]

The first Honda 0W-20 bottle displayed in that Insight brochure is the same Idemitsu bottle Honda Canada is using today. If the "new uniquely formulated Honda Genuine 0W-20" was the same as the 200 VI high moly 0W-20 that I first became aware of in 2009, and I suspect it was, it took years before Toyota jumped on the high VI 0W-20 bandwagon.
