I have read some where that after driving for about an hour. If the filter gets hot, it means that the filter is doing its job. But if the filter does not get hot, it means the filter is in bypass a lot.
Is this true? The reason I'm asking this is because when I was using an oem filter (Honda Civic), it used to get real hot but the Hamp does not get hot at all.
Only for GMs with in block bypass.
For filter dome bypass, the can gets hot in bypass or otherwise.
