I'm not much of a German speaker, but in a link above provided by other members they mention synthetic in description of M1 products. SHC doesn't necessarily mean it's a hydrocracked oil, it's just a M1 term.
If we look at Mobil Super 3000 range, a fully synthetic oils in other markets, they are specific about marketing them as HC in Germany, without any mention of synthetic part.
Also IIRC M1 changed its German site regarding M1 description, don't think they've mentioned synthetic in previous form. I could be wrong though.
