I would believe a long term study done by the FBI. It should be accurate. But I don't trust a lot of research that is done today at various universities or with grant money. I work for a local governmental agency. I have seen grant money that was 100% used for a good and worthwhile cause and I have also seen grant money that never should have been granted. And I have seen research that was not worth the paper it was printed on.
