Copper versus Platinum spark Plugs

I've had plugs with an internal copper core but I've never seen any with copper electrodes. Are the electrodes copper colored?

FWIW I was looking in the Rock Auto catalog for plugs for my 1994 Dakota pu w/v-6. They had lots of plugs but one was the Bosch Irridium Fusion? rather expensive but as I recall a $4 per plug rebate, making the Bosch Irridium about $8 more per 6 cylinder car vs. a basic plug. Assuming, of course, that you send the rebate in and Bosch send it back. The Denso didn't have a rebate. If interested check the Rock auto site, and I don't know what Advance, etc. have with coupons.A great price makes experimentation easier, and I suspect Rock have more of the slow moving plug numbers.
