I basically used up whatever I had lying around! That engine (1995 Mercury Sable 3.8L) got new top end gaskets and rod bearings.

Is that a typo? I like MMO, but 45.5% of capacity is alot!

The EP moly should offset some of the thinning, but you're a bold man!

The engine had been sitting for over a year, and was swapped into the Sable after getting new top-end gaskets and rod bearings.

FWIW, the ol 3.8L Essex is running great on that cocktail, smooth and with little noise (less than usual for a 135K Ford 3.8L).
