I ended up buying a new EverStart battery from Wal-Mart for my motor scooter yesterday.
Naturally, they charged me a $5 core fee when I bought the new battery (I want to hang on to the old battery for a short while to do some tests to make sure it's really dead vs. simply being discharged. It's about four years old though, so it might well be on the way out.).
They gave me a receipt for getting the core fee back when I take in the old battery, but I'm curious if I need to go back to the same store, or if I can go to any other Wal-Mart.
I as because this particular store is about 15 minutes away in one direction, but this evening I'm going to be traveling the opposite direction, and there's a store located much more conveniently to my route.
Yes, I'm lazy and will be somewhat pressed for time tonight, hence my asking.
