Purolator Filter Update

I heard back from Purolator today. Their techs have done visual analysis on the filters and found some troublesome spots in the areas I pointed out. They are going to run a series of non-destructive and destructive tests on them to see how they would have performed. They are also going to send me replacements that are going to be hand-inspected by their engineers tomorrow. Once the tests are complete, I will get a phone call from the engineer doing the investigating to explain the results.

I'm very pleased with how this has gone with Purolator. They seem like a company that cares about the product and customers. Thoughts?

I'm a big fan of Purolator filters, personally. It's what I prefer to use on my car

Could you please give us a short recap on the initial issue?

I read in your other thread that the "non US" made ones looked 10x better.

Maybe they closed the US plant and the people there knew they where getting laid off? Where is the "non US" one made?
