My oldest ride now is that old dodge van , 2002. rebuilt engine and tranny, now its ok and driveable.

1992 Honda Accord EX. 168k miles. It's still in perfect mechanical shape, and almost perfect cosmetic shape. Still a reliable daily driver.

1972 GMC 1500 short-bed. 73,000 miles. Only drive it in warm weather when there is no rain in the forecast.

1981 MB 240D with 73k miles and 1982 MB300CD with 162k miles. Id drive either across country tomorrow...

I do keep them out of the snow due to salt, but both work great in the winter. Ill probably go on a road trip of 100 miles of more in the 240D this weekend.

Lol Opus, that truck averages 1000 miles per year.

mine oldest car is the Chrysler van in my SIG. But the wife is getting ancy for a new(er) car.

Right now its my 87 f250. Cars i have had since i go my license in 1985. 62 peterbilt,68 elcamino,68 scout.
,69 chevelle,70 elcamino,73 cougar,73 international pickup,76 ramcharger. All were daily drivers.

2004 VW, 288kmiles. Not sure I'd drive it out of state at the moment; I think at least one coolant hose is getting soft, so I strongly suspect I need to replace hoses this summer--then I'd safely drive cross-country. But I doubt anyone in the family would offer to ride shotgun.

Stored daily outside, driven year round, and I suspect only has a couple of years of life left at best, due to New England salt.

Nothing wrong with a '49 Plymouth. I bet a whole generation motored around with its reliable flathead.

Past: 1997 Thunderbird V8, sold with 167k miles. (2 mechanical repairs)
Current: 2003 Elantra XD, 211k miles, still doing beater/3rd car duties. (1 mechanical repair)
