Childhood memories of tuggin' on "pully bones" at my GrandDad's; and also the double Holiday Whammy when Mom's Mom came over for her Thanksgiving dinner a few days later - usually on Sunday.

Yummy days for sure!

A very memorable Thanksgiving was when the candles set the lampshade over the table on fire and my grandfather pulled the whole fixture down out of the ceiling and it crashed onto the dinner table complete with Turkey and all the trimmings and then we all doused it with our water glasses.

Dropping my first Turkey in a Fryer.

Thought I was gonna burn the garage down, but only suffered minor burns from the fountain of peanut oil that ensued.

The year it snowed the day before Thanksgiving in northern Michigan and the snow was chest deep (I believe I was 4 years old).
