WNDA3100 V2 not connecting higher than 54MBps

what encryption are you using?

you cant only connect higher than 54mbit if you use no encryption or wpa2

What router are you using? Try enabling WMM in your router configuration utility if it is currently disabled
 
What mode is the router in? If you leave it open to using a/b/g/n, it will not connect at higher than 54mbps. It can actually cause it to "dumb" all the way back to 11mbps. I'd check the router first, make sure it only allows N for a test. Also make sure you use WPA2. Another possible issue would be if you have a lot of other wireless networks nearby or some other source of interference.
 
Thanks, I will look into it. I'm not to familiar with it all.

I'm using a Lynksis 2.4ghz
