When you search online to try to figure something out -- are you getting a lot of generic results? Is it AI generated?

There are a lot of sites that have some limited uses but provide either generic info, incorrect info, or are really a front for Amazon links. It stinks because some seem to have useful irl names and catchy info, but as soon as you read into the site you can tell it’s worthless.

And duck duck go seems to be much more succeptible to this and other worthless sites than other search tools. The price one pays for some privacy I guess.
There's a good workaround for that - you can, from Duck Duck Go's search bar, preface your search with "g!".

That enables a Google search without conveying any personal information to Google.
