USED ANTIFREEZE $5 a jug at Pick-n-Pull!

Car flippers - don't care.
Convenience item - I don't have to stand in line at the parts store.
Leaks coolant anyway, so less per week
The 5 bucks saved might buy dinner - unexpected car repair.

etc.

Not saying I would do it - but might be the best option for some.

Clever way to get rid of it. I wonder what they do with all the antifreeze in the old clunkers? I always keep a couple gallons around of the old stuff.

AAA Crain's in Ft.Worth sells used antifreeze.....The weird things you see a pick-a-part yards! But.....I'm glad they're around!

Like you said....For electrical connectors/pigtails, I leave them with 50-60 Fuses & Relays in my pockets usually.
Dang! I totally didn't think getting relays and fuses!!!

Sounds like a way for Pick & Pull to make a few extra bucks and I guess used coolant might be better than just water, but I would have serious concerns about using the wrong coolant in the wrong car (e.g. dex-cool). It's fortunate that many of us don't have to consider buying used coolant, ever... I would never have thought about it until this thread. Reuse my own coolant with known history? Sure. Buy any used fluid from a wrecking yard? No.
