Didn't see a general forum section for such a question so I thought I'd just throw it here. Local commercial shop where we get industrial supplies/parts including our Chevron lubricants are sending us some bottles for UOA, $22 Cdn each includes shipping and analysis fees, two week wait for results, emailed. We're doing some of the forklifts, heavy equipment and fleet, including my truck, the wife's van, and Rube. With the oil warmed, do you take a sample out of the catch basin or mid stream while it's dumping out of the crankcase? What about the printed results, is there somewhere a list of what each means for a noob like me since I don't understand the #'s/specs?
