Two new Toyota recalls

They're recalling almost 500,000 Tacoma models for problems that appear to be in the clockspring assembly, causing air bags to not deploy when appropriate.

They're also recalling 70,000 Camrys and 116,000 Venzas for problems with stop lamp switches. Apparently silicone grease was used improperly during the switch assembly and the switches are malfunctioning in the field.

Recalls are problems that are related to safety and usually have lower failure rates versus "typical" out of pocket problem with a vehicle.

Toyota,Honda...recalls? Naww,cant be. Aspen/Volare and the X cars have nothing on these guys nowadays.
