Has anyone watched the WW II movie "The Train"?

I just caught by accident the second half of the movie on free tv. Thought the movie was really good. I had never heard of this movie before.

"Von Ryan's Express" with Frank Sinatra was also a good WW II train movie.

The flight jacket Frank Sinatra wore in Von Ryan's Express was the same flight jacket Bob Crane wore as Col Hogan in Hogan's Heroes.

I have always thought of Burt Lancaster as a hit or miss actor. Run Silent Run Deep was a good movie. So was Gunfight At the OK Corral. Then there were some real duds. The Swimmer for one is a movie I never understood.

I think it depended on his character. Westerns were good for him as were most action movies.
