Looks good, I think one of the attributes of the FK is not tight water beading. Which probably helps prevent water spots. Which is good and still keeps the finish protected.

Make sure your brother checks his oil level often. Either monthly or biweekly. Since those engines can consume oil. Maybe put a quart of top off oil down by the spare. Can still go 300k as long as it's taken care of.
 
Nice beading action, i just hand applied Chemical Guys Jetseal and its awesome.

Mine has never burned a drop outside the one time the PCV went bad. But I have been running 5w30 in mine not the 5w20 that Toyota back speced for the 2.4 engines.
