It may have been routed through their distribution channel, but WM does not do business with distributors. They only buy from the original manufacturer under the brutal contract they impose at the price they specify. (Plus, the price is required to drop a certain amount after a year of high volume. And you can be summoned to Arkansas to prove you are not making more money than you are allowed to make, with all your company records.)
Somebody at RP made the deal. You don't sign the contract, you do not sell to WM. Who cares who shipped it? THAT'S WM's way of doing business, and they do not make exceptions. (I no longer sell to WM because I refused the contract.) If you think that WM is buying RP from a distributor that can have its distributorship yanked for selling to WM, then you are deluded. It's WM's way, or no business.
