Look at the level n the dipstick before you drain into a MARKED bucket, that way you know how many litres corresponds to what level on the dipstick.
Then fill with the factory specified amount and see how it correlates to the dipstick.

My 2012 Ram 5.7L is 7 quarts with filter, filter size MO-899 / XG2; might be less with a consolidated size filter like QS173 - I never ran a consolidated size filter personally.
A 1/2" socket / wrench works on my oil drain plug.

Funny, I saw that filter on an auto parts store website but when I called a dealer and told them I had seen 3 or 4 different numbers for the Mopar filters for a 2104 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi he told me there was only one part number. 4892339AA is what he told me. It is Napa Gold 7060, MOBIL M1-113, and the site did not list a Fram Ultra number.
