It might be overfilled by maybe 1/8". It is really thin oil and moves along the dipstick really easilyThanks for sharing. Is it overfilled or just the pic?
What exactly is the point of this?
Yesterday evening . When checking the oil dipstick decided to take a look into the engine of '18 ACCENT and discovered this . Any other KIA / HYUNDAI owners have this ? 47,048 miles on engine and was bought new . Always used synthetic . Checked about 45 minutes later after 23 mile drive .

Warranty would not cover deposits seen down the oil fill hole if that's what you're referring to.Still have the 10 year / 100,000 mile powertrain warranty . Hopefully it's something they would honor . Time will tell .
