PL14477 off my Buddies Vibe, not sure how many miles, somewhere in the 6-8k range, over 9 Mo.(07/11/13-04/12/14)
Did the oil Change a week ago, couple days back drove a self tapping screw into the dome end, and drained the oil within(Nextgen Conv. 5w30), which was sent for a UOA. should be interesting.
Let it drain a couple more days, then tonight got out my Hi-Tech Filter cutter, a plain olD crank can opener i picked up @ Dollar General.
Filter Media Felt Hard, almost "set up" ala Concrete.
Notice the Pleats on Both Sides of the Seam are Torn loose from the Glue. but that seems to be the only tearing...
If anyone is familiar with/can decode Purolators stamped code on the end of the can to tell when this was made, etc it's :
