Password Problem with E-mail Log In

I know VERY little about computers so bear with me. I have used the same password for Yahoo mail for a long time. While logging onto my
account I get the notice that my password is incorrect. Please help me and I wish all of you a Merry Christmas

Simplest resolution is the possibility your keyboard caps lock is turned on. Another painful possibility is your password was compromised

First thing to do is try rebooting the computer and logging in again. That should also clear the cap lock if you have it on as speculated by Rogueman2016s.

Check the numbers lock (num lock) too.

I would say if you really believe you are using the correct password, you can try to reset it. Of course usually this would involve having setup a backup email and/or more likely cell phone where you can get a text.

These days many of us have password issues (sheer number of them) and use some sort of password manager. 1 year ago I lost access to mine (wouldn't you know the cell phone # was my old one and I could not receive a text to reset) and counted 180 accounts stored in the password manager
