Oversize Filter

I am looking for an oversized filter for my '96 Isuzu Trooper. Does anyone have a part number for one? (preferably a Wix)

I think that is the big one in that thread/gasket size. The can diameter is bigger on your filter too. The 51356 is the smaller of the two, IIRC. 51344 is the one spec'd for your Trooper.

The EaO36 is 4.7" long with a 3" can diameter. It's got a slightly bigger gasket 2.7/2.3 (vs. 2.5/2.2) and has a higher bypass valve setting. There is no cross reference to this in WIX.

If it fits, use the 51344 which is my preferred 20mm oversized.
Another option is the 51347!

undummy's suggestion of the 51347 has the right bypass valve setting ..but has the slightly bigger gasket like the Amsoil filter. If you can manage the gasket (you probably can) ..then that's what you want.

Otherwise ..you ALREADY HAVE the bigger filter in that "group"
