Yes, grind off the bad weld and repair it properly. If necessary, cut out and replace the damaged section. No big deal for a good body man.

Thanks for posting the video- have never seen harder to access coils than on the V10- one has to pull the intake manifold to get to the coils.

I didn't know these existed so I looked them up on BAT. This one sold for $31,500. Not sure who would pay 18K for a salvage one, but maybe someone will.
