Those Kumho's for $71 a tire are a screaming deal. I'd go that route..

RWest, I know about the Generals and you are right about the price. But at BJs, they sell BFGoodrich All Terrain TA KOs at $216 (never much discount on these) and Michelins at an even higher price! Now that includes everything...balnace, free rotation and rebalance every 6000 miles, disposal, new stems, etc. The best BJs can do is a Uniroyal and I wouldn't put them on a little red wagon after almost being killed because of hydroplaning on the PA turnpike some years ago. Hercules also makes a lower price off road tire as well as General.

It's like oil for the engine. Crude is WAY down, polymer prices are going down and tires keep going UP as sales fall! How long will it take until tire prices reflect reality?
