Anyone have any issues with these? I opted no to take the dealers $5600 dollar warranty. From what I have read they are pretty bullet proof!

The 3.6 and ZF 8 speed are a great combo, probably the best powertrain in the business. I had a 2015 that was great, in 70k miles of ownership the only issue I had was a leaky strut. Obviously my 2021 hasn't had any issues. I think the Grand Cherokee is a great vehicle and will serve you well.

Sold a 2014 58k miles to a friend of mine. The ZF 8 speed pan gasket developed a pretty severe leak from nowhere. One day it was dry the next day it was leaving spots all over. The pan and gasket was strictly jeep designed and not by ZF like the rest of the trans. Gasket was like $15 from Mopar, but the ZF fluid was $13 a quart. Needed about 10 of them just because the pan had to be dropped. Did a new filter while I was in there.

Other than that only other issue was the driver side window switch stopped functioning. Cheap $20 part. Too bad it got t-boned by a cop car a week later.

Nice! My father has a 2013 5.7L GC knocking on the door of 175k miles. Most of the repairs have been things he has done to it (accidents which resulted in radiator replacement, etc) but it has been very reliable so far.

I agree 100%. WIfe's 2014 Overland model with all the options has been flawless for the 124k miles it now has. The 3.6/8spd is smooth as silk just as day 1 and the air suspension impressed me so much I got myself a RAM Limited with air suspension....92k mile and that truck has been flawless as well...same basic 8speed just behind a 5.7 Hemi.
