You might consider some M/Ts or Goodyears made specifically for stick cars (they usually have a suffix like "S" or "M" to indicate stick or manual). I have found that www.ClassRacer.com is an excellent place for these kinds of questions.
I have some 28X10.50 ET Drags I am going to get rid of in favor of something DOT so I can bracket. Was that height right to get you through the traps at a good RPM?
I ran 10.60's @ 129 in a 3200 lb heavyweight back in the late 80's (462 with a TH400) on 14 x 32's can't remember what compound the Goodyears were.
Always wanted a Lenco, never had the $$.
Last door car I built ran 7.60's @ 179 @ 1800lbs. Blown 540 on Alky with a glide and a 12 bolt!!. If someone can tell me how to attach a pic???
