+1 on what o2man98 said on the ASE. You really should have the extra rust additive that it has. Unless the engine is never subjected to anything but real dry conditions you could have surface rust building up.
I disagree with a lot of guys that say use regular syn and HDEO oils in 4 stroke outboards as well. Pay a little extra for a proper marine oil with extra rust additives.
