So it's insurance and employer's fault. Darn them!!! It's good to know that those without insurance ..and those who will not be able to afford it in the future ..aren't really deserving of not having it. It was some evil profiteer that did it to them. Someone seeking a profit.

Thanks for letting us in on who the real victims are here!!

Apparently you missed the part where government forced them into the situation.

So the victims aren't those without coverage ..either now or in the future? The victims are the high profit practices and services? The government held a gun to their head? The insurance industry was forced to enable a money grab?

"The devil made me do it!" ????

Once again, you're 100% right. Wealth needs help!!

How much evil profit do you make selling Amsoil? How much evil profit does big AL make? How much money do you spend on this board to have a granted near monopoly on being able to sell here?

Well, if everyone had to belong to BITOG and no matter how many sponsors were on the board, they all had to make a standard of living that was determined by BITOG (the AMA co-enabled by the insurance industry) ..then you may have a point.

Again, even if it were the case, just who would be the victim? Those who could easily afford the oil ..or those who could not? Would I be a victim, the person who's enjoying a falsely elevated status due to my membership in a cartel, or those who cannot benefit from it due to my manipulations??

Heard on the news last night the the porn industry (Larry Flynt particularly) has asked for a few billiom to help the industry survive a 30% dip in sales.

This is getting funny now.

Pretty maddening if you ask me...

everybody in the woodwork is now asking for bailout $$ (our taxpayer's money) Again, I ask.. where's MY bailout!

California might be handing us taxpayers a big ol fat IOU for our income taxes this year...

Say what??? You have yet to show ANYTHING that shows the AMA, a think tank, has a grand conspiracy to form a monopoly on the health care market.

YOU are advocating a government monopoly on health care. There is a serious disconnect there.

All this talk of monopolies, conspiracies, oligarchies, market manipulation, those in power using their position to gain advantage, blah, blah...
And you are paying for the EXACT same thing here for your own gain. The hypocrisy is palpable.

Tempest (sigh ..shakes head in pity) ..tell me that you're unaware of the FDA and AMA setting protocols ...expensive protocols ..that the insurance industry includes in covered procedures??

PLEASE tell everyone here that this evolution ..in its BOLDLY APPARENT IN YOUR FACE existence is something that you're totally ignorant of?? Let the audience out early here for taking you seriously.

We've been here before, my friend ...and you're taking me on the same stallball trip to nowhere ..

Isn't it getting old as a totally ineffective defensive maneuver?? You are the lone champion here ...in case you didn't notice (shhh! Don't tell him!).

The FDA is a government entity and yes, they do set protocols.

The AMA is think tank:
Quote:
Where there is no conflict with state or local jurisdiction protocol, policy, or regulation on this topic, the AMA supports the following basic guidelines

http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/category/15247.html
Quote:
The American Medical Association strongly supports the regulation of tobacco products by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/category/17319.html
See any authority there?

If it is "BOLDLY APPARENT IN YOUR FACE" no doubt you have at least one link that supports your position?

Don't know about your AMA, but the Australian Medical Association directly controls the numbers of doctors and specialists in the market.

Then justifies $400,000 p.a. GPs on the ridiculous number of hours that they have to work to keep up.

How about influence?

Do you see any anti-authority that prohibits the construction of a self feeding entity? Is there anything that prevents doctors and insurance companies feeding each other in mutual collective self interest??

No. You don't. It's a feeding frenzy.
