2004 5.4l FX4 i always use Fl820s. oil i switch between MS5k and Trop artic syn blend (a cheaper relative of motorcraft semi-syn) both in 5w20 always. the trop artic is growing on me as its seems to be a great lube and is always on sale at orschlern farm store.
the truck has 211k miles on it and runs great. ive owned it since 130k. the first 50k i used MS5k at 8k intervals mostly highway, now using the trop artic.
